Default d16z6 acceleration problem

I have a pretty big problem, well i just changed the ignition coil and it seems to be running better now, before i would bog out and just stall while driving in the streets.. Well heres the problem with my 93 cx d16z6, it has an acceleration problem when the cel lights up when i'm driving, but the cel goes up when i shift at around 3500rpm or higher, than at around 3-5 gear i'll have a hard time accelerating until i hit around about 4k rpm than it just flies to the point i just yell out vtec just kicked in yo, well i don't even know if vtec engages, my tacho and speedo jumps when i floor it or 75% on the gas pedal. And thats where i lose track of where to shift and how fast i'm going. Well if i advance the timing it drives pretty normal, but than the engine roars and doesn't sound normal but i believe thats how my ignition coil got messed up because of the advance timing, it was advance to the point where the distributor is held by one bolt and the distributor thing that is held on by the bolt is partially cut off. so its super advance timing.. Anyone have any idea whats going on? i can't check the codes because the cel goes up only when i shift at around 35-4k rpm, and if i turn it off and back on cel is gone and same thing, also when i turn off the car and start it back up, cel's off and it drives normal until cel goes back on, wierd. i noticed that i am missing a (idle speed control valve or w.e its called i'll upload a picture) not sure if thats the problem, air is being sucked through that whole and maybe dirt gets inside and messes with the sensor, not sure.. Any help would be appreciated Thanks you guys.

It sounds like you may be 1-2 teeth off on your cam gear. Recheck your timing.
