ok so my friends hatch basically just took a **** haha he was driving it and all of a sudden his rpms wouldnt go past 3 and there was like a rattle from the engine but he didnt throw a code. then when he got home he parked it but left it running and his idle was crazy messed up then after like a min. it fixed itself and a gang of white smoke came out of the exhaust and smelt like fuel not just a lil fuel, this was a real rich smell.

so what do you guys think? help please

****! haha my friend knows his honda's pretty well too tho and we cant figure it out. maybe like the spark plugs or the head gasket or **** got in the motor?

 

Sometimes the bearing in the distributor will fly apart and make a god awful noise and will royally screw up the timing. That said it generally will throw several codes for sensors in the distributor.

 

its not throwing any codes though..at all
