Default SC61 .81 A/R on 81.5mm GSR??

what up,

i have a semi built 81.5mm gsr (ls crank, eagle rods, CP 9.1 pistons,) w/ built head. i'm looking to go with a SC6162 .81AR w/ S 4" ported comp. cover. i already know that this turbo will have lag but im looking to make high 400 on pump and 550 on race fuel. about where would i have full boost? i'm just worryed about falling out of boost between gears?? i seen a graph on evans site with someone on a simular build and he made 500 on pump (same turbo) and he said the lag wasnt as bad as ppl say?! i'd just like to get more input from ppl with this turbo

thanks

I have a sc6152s .63 now and full boost by 5k rpm to redline 9300rpm

upgrading to sc6265SP billet wheel .82 will see the spool diff when it comes in

depending on tranny and rev limit you shouldnt fall out of boost.

I had the same turbo on a B16 reving it to 8700 and it was fully boost by 5000 5200 and held to rev limit and didnt fall out between shifts.

turbo will be fine, im running a stage 5 turbine wheel with a .82 hotside sc63 16 psi by 4500 rpm reving to 9k and it doesnt fall out of boost unless shift below 8k and the responce time isnt bad at that point either

this is on a stroked gsr 81.5mm srp's 9.7:1 actual compression scat rods ctr cams stock gsr head and gsr trans with spa cast topmount.
