Default some input please...

So I am getting ready to take the car out after hibernating it for the winter. just wanted to do some maintenance and wanted some of your opinions

i was thinking:
oil, tranny, steering fluid change
new spark plugs, plug wires and a new cap and rotor.
also thinking of getting valve adjustment and coolant flush

anything else i'm missing? new fuel filter perhaps?

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If your having someone do it for you go to a Honda Dealer, if your doing it yourself, use oem parts (except oil if you use synthetic etc..). x2 on the ngk parts as well. Sounds like you covered everything that i would recommend. for doing preventative maintenance

Check your owner's manual or service manual for the recommended service intervals, and compare them with how long it's been since each service was last done. Remember that the intervals are specified in both distance (miles or kilometers) and time, and it's whichever interval comes first.

well im not sure...i was under the impression that a valve adjustment should be done every 25k km? also i remember ischijima (guy who owns spoon) saying that "ideally" you should adjust your valves every time after you hit vtec.....

and ITR525, im thinking of either taking it to a local stealership or doing the work myself...

You should go and purchase the valve adjustment tool and do it yourself. It is fairly easy and took me about an hour the first time I did it. All you need is patience...

Good luck...
