I got a 98 Civic.....the dome light for the interior works on the on position, but when switched to the position when it lights up every time the door is open does not work. Basically when I open my doors it don't light up. I switch to different positions but does not work....only on the on position. What may be the problem?

 

96-98 civic's used the oem deck to control keyless entry and power doorlocks. There is an extra Green plug behind the stereo n you will have to jump 2 wires for the domelight to work when doors are open.

 

So I take one of those green plugs and attach the black wire to the green?
