SS plate
That's not really scrap .... that's a flange waiting to be cut. I could sell you some from around the shop but honestly after shipping you'd be better off hitting up a local metal shop of even a local scrap yard.
get some at a local metal supplier. do not get it at a scrap yard. they won't have any idea on the grade of stainless and you may end up with something you can't use.
Costs more than $30 in machine time and tooling for a 4-6 cyl flange. I would expect $40 and under for the piece you are looking for unless your local metal by the foot depot really bends you over, which they very well may for a small part like this.

I buy all my metals from Alro steel, as they are local... I believe SS is going for $2.75 a lb as of last week, so you would be looking at maybe $25-30. I don't think that size plate would run more then 10lbs?
