heres just a few fun pics of the machine shop i use, it sa plus to have access to these place,
also goes to show what work goes into a flange, anyways, enjoy
so when i charge you $50 to make a flange you'll know why, this is a TDO4 flange for a WRX exhauts i'm making
first i cut from a big *** piece of steel
then i sandblast it in this bad boy
from that piece i sandlblasted, its back to the band saw
cut holes on drill press
the TIG i try to use, hard as hell, thats why i MIG for now, LOL
final product, big difference from the first big piece of rusted steel, looks just like stock
bunch of machines
thats it, so when you ask why a piece of metal is 50$, you'll know the effort, enjoy
so if you need any piping, exhauts, flanges, etc made up, holla at me, later

I'd invest in a cheap plasma cutter. takes a bit of practice to get a steady hand but I could make that exact same flange in about 35-45 mins!

Damn, for all that I could have my machine shop make that flange out of stainless steel in a CNC for less
Good job though. Sometimes its no fun having a computer program make the parts when you can put you own hard work into it!
