Default F series block H series head?

So my buddy has an H23 in his lude and blew the block. He is wondering if he can use a single cam F series block with his H series head.
Is it possible?

Thanks!

It really does. Just gotta grab a few bits off the donor motor and slap it together. He'll need

H23 head (duh)
H23 timing belt
H23 lower timing gear
F23 head gasket

Reuse everything else like the water pipe from the F22 block. Only issue is you'll have to find a place to mount the knock sensor

dont listen to them, i got out the game awhile but my last build was this exact thing. the headgasket has gaps. the h22 head has 2 oil holes that the f blocks dont. i will put my life on it you have to plug 2 holes and use honda bond along the back to keep the oil from dripping out like a faucet. let me find my pics.

ok so mine was a h22 head but the h22 block and h23 block are exctlyt the same, this meaning the h23 has the same holes i had to plug. im tryin to find my picks, i cant get them to upload. if you got a myspace wich is gay and i dont use anymore my email is asphaltrocket08@yahoo.com i have pics on there. of h/f combo. it made 317hp on all stock honda internals. but it aint just a bolt on. u have to use the h23 water pump gear and press it to the f22 pump plug some holes. use the h23 crank gear. do what u want but if u research it you will find more. im just telling you what i know are 100 percent true facts

yea definitly a poser. he lists it and says type r shift linkage, since when did the type r have cables. the wheels are actually drag dr16's not rotas. he has a car takes credit and dont know **** about it. but if you werent so far away id help your boy with his build. the f23 needs modded and i here the f22 is worse. the one post on here says he had to shave the block down some or some crap. but anyways what do u mean he blew the block? doesn it have a hole in it? if the bare block is good u can use the crank and rods from the f22. they are the exact same as the h23. u just have to press the h23 pistons to the f22 rods. assemble it back into the h23 and he is good. id put new bearings and piston rings in there but its a peice of cake
