h23 head and h22 block

Default h23 head and h22 block

h23 head and h22 block

i got a turbo h23 accord and i spun a main bearing

i got my head off the h23 it been ported and big vales so i want to keep that

i cant kind a h23 bottom end and a guy got a h22 one for sale so i was thinking about buying it i know ill lose power but i don't care

will a h23 head bolt right up to the h22 block with not changing anying thing

I've heard that they bolt up, but there are oil/coolant passage that might be different, so you'll have to work around that. This is kinda out of the ordinary that you're doing H23A head on H22A block. Most people do the other way around. I've been wanting to do the H22A head on the H23A block. Well, good luck.

yes it will work as long as you use the h-23 water pump and h-23 timing belt gear
on the crankshaft. blocks have same part #. do not forget to install oil restrictor
from h-23 into h-22 block that is in the oil passage that feeds the head
