99 CRV EX radio

well my battery went out and now my radio wants me to put in a code well I don't have the code, is there anyway I can bypass this or get the code

would the dealership have the code

it might be in the owners manual, the dealership should be able to get it but you might need to take the radio out to get the serial number off of the back.

ive gotten codes from the dealership without taking the radio off... ive just gave them the vehicle identification number(vin)

You can't get it by the VIN# you need the serial # from the audio unit.
