Just replaced girlfriends battery in her 99 Civic EX. She cannot find her code card for her stereo. Is there a default code or do they hid the code somewhere else in the car. I know that VW hides them in the sparew tire compartment!

Our 97 Acura 3.5 RL had it under the ashtray,try there.

 

might be in the glove compartment, should be with the manual. all else fails call a honda dealership, give them the vin and they can tell you the code.

 

if you still can't find it pull the radio and write down the serial number. If you call the dealer with your VIN and the serial # they can give you the code...

 

get the serial # off the back of the stereo, then call a Honda dealership.
