hey there, i was wondering if anyone knows about my problem. the car is idling low right now. when the car is at warm temperature, and i stop at stop lights or stop signs, the idle seems to get at 500 rpm or below. my car is a stock d16z6 and i managed to change the spark plugs with bosch platinum 4 and new spark plug wires. can it be the bosch spark plugs because i think honda recommends ngk instead. also, i checked to see if the distrubitor had enough fire power, so i putted a screwdriver into the spark plug wire and ground it. turns out the car still started so that must mean that the car still have enough fire power????

 

Check for vaccum leaks, Iacv to start

 

yes, my d16z6 when comming to lights almost seems like its gonna turn off. it will go to 500 and lower. and then sometimes it idles perfect at 900. than after a long light it sometimes starts going lowerr and lower it pisses me off.

 

Clean the IACV and check whether the breather hose and PCV valve and hose are clogged.

Also try adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body.
