Default question for people who did the auto->manual swap

how much did it cost and was it worth it? i heard that once you get the auto->manual swap your car will never feel the same as an OEM car that came from the factory with a manual. all input is appreciated.

not necessarily -- if it's done right, it would be the same. just gotta install the hydro clutch system with the clutch pedal, and take out all the torque converter ****.

one of my friends did this and was about $600 (not sure exact price) to do it, but he got a manual tranny B18C in a 1st gen integra that was auto before. Runs pretty well

i did an auto-manual, and i think its worth it, cost about 300 give or take a little
thats for the following; d-series si tranny, clutch kit, flywheel, linkage, shifter, pedal set, ecu, and mounts
did it all at home by myself, granted i did get hooked up for some parts, it should cost somewhere around there
it runs really good, i love it
