quick question on motor swap

Default quick question on motor swap

okay so i got an k20a3 in my ep right now i want to know what i need to put an a2 in it i got the motor and tranny only.can i use my ep harness for the a2??

Yes you should be able to. I used my k20 for the k24.

You'll need an A2 engine harness if you plan on using the 6 speed reverse lockout...

Am I correct in the understanding that the differences in the K20's are head, transmission and ecu? Not the blocks themselves?

yes there is a difference in blocks as well, internals, displacement, you name it ... there can be alot of difference but for the MOST PART (somethings may not always work so dont assume) all k series motors can bolt up together like building blocks but just putting things together wont do the job unless you've take the time to study up, then you will learn what is needed for your build ... does that make sense cause if it doesnt its cause im sleepy : )
