How to Tell if you Need a New Cat?????
Is there any way you can tell if you need a new cat or if it is clogged????
I have never had mine changed and I have 109k miles on my car, also I was considering a test pipe, but wasn't sure.
maybe just a high flow cat??

your cat collects pollutants, so after 100k miles it's definately dirty. check out http://www.testpipes.com. $40 and you're good to go
Well I live in Alaska so I don't have any smog tests, but I am thinking about trying out a test pipe. Is it really that bad to have a test pipe???has anyone had any problems with their O2 sensors going out???
i don't know how hard it is...
but if yer in alaska just punch yer cat through...because
1. it might cost you nothing.
2. you don't have to buy anything else just DIY
3. you're flow would be increased greatly because i'm assuming it's just like a
straight/test pipe?
ask SMSP on this board about 02 sensors and all that sh*t.
to say that he is an exhaust guru is an understatement.
