lol
me too!
fixed for ya
there is a reason people will spend 1000$+ on just the manifold although there are less expensive ways to go about it, this is not the way. double the budget and start looking for good deals on QUALITY used parts. fmu is an absolute no no especially in this day and age. Its not 1998 anymore and those things are junk, there are so many tuning options out there now, and half of them are free! ....if a budget increase isnt possible then get a nitrous kit, it will be more reliable and wont blow the motor up if installed and used properly.

Its all knock off chinese junk that doesnt work properly, if at all...just because it looks the same doesnt mean it is the same....Ill try and post some pics later of that exact same manifold next to quality p-fab manifold....
Wow this isint a ****ing discusion thread there was a question, thatnks for thread jacking, if u dont know what thios setup could make and your a noob then make your own descusion thread.
Don't do it. Cheap kit = cheap results, cheap reliability. Look at some of the real turbo kits that are in excess of 4 to 5K. If that doesn't set off alarms for you, then do it.
LOL, are you calling Agtronic a noob? Awesome, a guy posting, asking if a knockoff turbo will be good for his friends $1000 turbo build says an experienced fabricator/shop owner is a noob.
To answer you question: Yes, it will make boost. Yes, people have used those kits before. As for "that turbo will be good for low end or top end rpm range ?" It'll be too big to spool down low and it'll blow oil past it's seals up high. In the end he'll get junk that won't last and make take his "very good b18a1" with it. Tell your friend to save up for quality used parts. He'll spend a little more, but he'll end up with much better parts that won't take a crap on him.
God I can't wait for search to work again.

I would take poor over stupid anyday of the week. My first turbo setup was well under a grand and consisted of no knockoff parts at all. Just some metal and time. I built a perfectly functional setup that has been in constant use for the last five years on daily driven cars.
Is that the story here? No. I don't think so.
Good luck OP
