i was wondering if there was any head unit for the radio that would match the amber lights in the typer. i was looking into the pioneer p9300 but.. it doesn't really match the amber lights, and i was wondering if anybody here knew about any head units that would good in our beautiful cars. thanks.

 

I know alpine makes a few that have amber lighting...I have a sony mobile ES head unit that lights red which works just as well

I hate to post this again, but this is the most beautiful head unit for the Type R.

 

Nakamichi has a bling blinging head unit that lights up that red amber at night. Check out their website.

 

Wow, double din hide away

Good for a track car. Try taking a long trip with nothing to listen to but the droaning of your exhaust.

 

did it. no tunes but the exhaust, ~4.5 hours to charleston and back,

 

Sony's head unit's match pretty well. ALthough I'm sur ethe Nak will sound better.

 

Sony's amber is more like a bright *** red, Nakamichi's are pretty similar I think, plus they sound awesome. Myself, I'd look into the Apline 7894, MP3 Headunit. Changes amber or green with the same great Alpine quality.

I had an old school sony that was a true amber and would have been perfect. Except it was stolen.

I can't live with out the radio for too long.
once I had no radio for one month.. it was ok for the first few days.. later on it is ..
you just need a radio..

 

where did you get that radio cover?? i was looking for one of those, actually.

edit: does anyone have the alpine unit that rob suggested? the picture with the unit glowing amber?? i just wanna see what it looks like. thanks.
