hey guys, does anyone know of a good aftermarket head unit that lights up amber? thanks alot

 

all the Alpine units I've owned have had dual illumination.. i think all their mid-higher end models have dual illumination... where you can switch between the amber or greenish display.. I'm sure other people will list other brands that do this too.. I've only had Alpine units

 

Alpines have them, and I'm not sure if the newer models do , but Clarion would be a great brand to check out to. Worse comes to worst, goto http://www.crutchfield.com, look at some decks you like and see if on the feature list it shows dual illumination/amber illumination...

The nakamichi's have it. Can't beat a nakamichi deck, but they are very simplistic looking, but alot of people like that. The cd45 can be had in green or amber illumination.

Certain Kenwood units have amber displays. Regarding Nakamichi, U better be careful they filed for bankruptcy recently.

If they go out of biz, no parts, no service, no warranty...

 

yup cd25,35,45 not too high in price either

 

thats too bad they filed for banktruptcy. i was leaning toward the 40z too
