So who thinks they know about hondas????
ok heres my situation, first of all i have a 93 EX coupe, i dropped in a 1991 D15b2 in it then converted it to a OBD1 with the manifold and harness and dizzy, running a P28ECU, tried to start it, everything turned over nicely and sparked and fuel pump was pumping injectors wher injecting, it almost did start, so i went to go tighten all the grounds and etc, as i went for the cable that you screw on to the altenator that goes from the harness "I FORGOT TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY" as i was tightning it i hit the fuel rail that caused a spark and everything to F'UP, went to check for power...nothing, replaced some fuses from the dash and the engine bay especially the Black A 80..everything turned on again except the fuel pump doesnt turn on and theres no spark????? I CHECKED THE PUMP CONNECTED IT STRIEGHT TO THE POWER WITH A KILL SWITCH ITS WORKS!!!....CHECKED THE MAIN RELAY WITH MY FRIENDS HONDA IT WORKS AS WELL!!!!, LASTLY I CHECK THE ECU AND THANK GOD IT WORKS PERFECT STILL!!!!!!!! I have check a bunch of wires with my multi meter and the one that seems to be messed up is a yellow wire with a green line on it. i believe thats the one for the fuel but i dont know what the hell to do is it a short!!??????????? PLEASE HELP THANK YOU!!!!!!
no not really, you vtec isnt activated so how does the ecu know it isnt there yet. If it is on get the codes and figure out what they are i bet one isnt vtec.
