Im building a motor which is going to be ls/v boost. As far as the parts i have for the head this is my set up

Skunk2 Pro Cam Gears
Skunk2 Pro Dual Springs
Skunk2 Titanium Retainers
Skunk2 Pro Series Valves
Skunk2 Fuel Rail
Edelbrock Victor X Intake Manifold
Blox 72mm Throttle Body

I was wondering which Skunk2 Cams should i be using Stage 1,2 or 3? Im looking from 600-650 hp.

 

Get the TURBO stage 2 cams. The regular cams will ruin your setup because of increased overlap... They make cams specifically for turbo cars, that is what you need to get...

i decided to go with the skunk2 pro series stage 1 cams they hold pretty good.

 

ITR's are nice with boost

 

yeah i heard about those too but i also heard they only hold up til around 500hp

 

good choice the pro1s are the best cams to go with on a turbo build. they put out more power than the stage2 turbo cams and the pro2s have too much overlap

 

Thanks bro. The shop im always going to had told me to go with the pro1s and that they will hold up the hp i will be putting down. So i decided to go with those we'll see what happens and what numbers i will be putting down.
