Default Climate control lights not functioning properly

Im having problems with my climate control lighting. Theyll turn on at first but, if I change the settings, the lights for the temp and fan speed will just go out. Anybody know what could cause that?

Your CC bulbs might simply be on their last leg. Mine were intermittent last week on my 91. I replaced them with new Autozone #2721 bulbs, and they now work fine. IIRC all 88-2000 Civics use the same CC bulbs. Note: The OEM bulbs are actually a bit cheaper than Autozone's at the online OEM parts sites. But you have to pay shipping/handling yada.
