08 coupe rim width?
I am going to test fit some wheels to see if a 19x9.5 will work up front. I have tried a 20x9 with a +45 and it fits fine. I am going to try a 19x9.5 with a +40 and +45, just haven't had the time. When I do it, I can let you know what will work.

Please keep me posted. Do you think that 9.5 up front would be too wide? I was thinking about doing the 18x9.5 in the rear and 18x8 up front. The rims i am considering have a 3 inch lip on the 18x9.5 and a 1.5 inch lip on the 18x8.
What rims are you going with?

i do think 9.5 may be to wide but everyone is different. Like i said, i have tried a 9 with a 45, so why not a 9.5. I am always trying to do something different when it comes to wheels and cars. Some may like and some may not. The wheels i am going to test fit will be the axis penta in 19x9.5 et40 and the axis hiro 19x9.5 et45. I am not to sure about the caliper clearance on the penta but i know there is enough on the hiro.

So i got around to do some test fits today. Here is a quick list of what wheels i tested fitted on a stock 2008 Accord coupe.
Wheels:
Axis Penta 19x9.5 +40
Axis Shine 19x9.5 +40
Axis Super Hiro 19x9.5 +45
The 9.5 +40 was sticking out about 2-3 mm. Very small amount but if you lower the car, it should just camber in. The 9.5 +45 sat perfect. About 1m(inside) from being flush with the fender. Caliper clearance isn't a issue on any of this wheels. So depending on what wheels you want to run, just make sure there is enough caliper clearance and you should be ok with a 9.5 in the front.

So basically if you put on lowering springs and a rims with a +45 offset and a proper alignment, you should be good to go. Man I owe you a cup of coffee. thanks a lot!!
