Default Fuel Cut Early

I recently purchased a 92 civic cx from a friend of mine.. It has a ls swap well the car was showing the codes for the iacv, and the iat.. i got these fixed as it was a wiring problem.. but now a new problem has occured that i just noticed.. the car will hit fuel at 6200 rpms according to the tach in the car ::gauge cluster swapped from a ex::, my question is what can cause this as i have no more cel's...could the wire going from the distributor to the tach not getting a correct reading? or is it something else that wouldnt cause a cel...any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for the help i get
