tach jumping , new distributor, same problem??
well my tach was jumping so i replace ignitor.. same problem.. replace whole new distributor from distributor king and still same problem.. maybe short somewhere?? where to start? any help thanks

did you change the cluster to another model??like an s2k or an newer si cluster??...im asking because it sounds like your problem lies behind the cluster with a loose ground

no.. car is a 93 civic, the only cluster swap was for the same one but wit a tach... its funny becuz when the tach jumps around and gets too low.. the car dies...?

well mu guess would be aq dizzy problem...maybe you got a faulty one or something....if not, check all your wiring and make sure there is no splices that are exposed and grounding out

h22a in eg.. i think it might b a wiring issue.. anyone have complete diagrams?? thinkin about re-wiring the whole car.. sensor straight to ecu?

I had that feeling. I had the same problem with my H and I could never figure it out the tach flickers right? Well I just got done with my new build its geting fired up next thursday I was in the same boat as you I honestly think its in the wireing check them wires going to your distributor. I hooked up my buddys dissy and it still did the same thing so that whats its got to be. I got a fresh new harness now from hasport so I dont think im gonna have that problem anymore hopefully

hmmm.... something to look into.. need some sources to try and tackle the wiring.. anyone have a scan they can hook me up wit?? i need a diagram of where all the sensors go..... i know they go to an ecu and ground right??? which grounds to have to give to the sensor?? o and the blue that is tach signal.. how do i wire up plus the back/yellow wire from distributor where does that go.. cuz i dont see in anywhere in the ecu pinouts.. thanks!

FIXED!! just so everyone knows.. a short r something in your wire harness can make ur car act really weird.... i just took it out and re did it... just so people know wiring gremlins r out there to get u
