95 civic brake problem

Icon2 95 civic brake problem

my brake pedal would sink in and at first i didnt know what was rong i found a tear in my front brake line so i changed it an dbled the system but still sank in so i pulled the master and it was bad i changed it along with the brake booster and now i no brakes period i dont know whats rong if anyone has an idea please give me feed back thank you

man u have alot of air in the system KEEP BLEEDING UNTIL U GET PREUSRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND MAKE SURE U DONT HAVE ANY OTHER LEAKS AND BRAKES IN THE SYSTEM....... BUT IF NO LEAKS BLEEDD THE BRAKES AND PUMP THEM UP ALOT...

i chekd the lines and found no leaks at all there is just no pressure me and a frind were bleeding it out for awhile and nothing ima try and bleed it some more other than that could it be anything else anyone knoe

You realize when you bleed it, you've got to make sure the reservoir is filled past the point where the lines come out of the brake master cylinder, otherwise you'll introduce air into the system. Make sure the system is nice and tightly sealed because if your lines aren't tight, when you press on the brake, fluid might come out and you wouldn't know it. Just check all of the lines and their associated connections, add fluid and bleed into a container, topping off the master cylinder reservoir and eventually the air should get out.

Are you sure you know how to bleed a brake system? There are various ways of doing it and one of them is gravity bleed, but that takes the longest.

My guess is this needs to be done, also a power bleeder never hurts either.

i dont know how to bench bleed and yea i know how bleed it one cris cross at least thats what the honda tech told me im new to hondas so this is all confusing to me

bench bleed the master first,then use a vacum bleeder starting with the right rear wheel,lr,rf and lf.you should have pressure after this.

the same thing happens to me in my DA but bleeding the brakes does nothing O_o
