brake trouble
I just got the front brakes done on a 94 ex civic. 2 days later the brake pedal sinks to the floor. what could be the problem? i doubt its the master cylinder. do you guys think it has to do anything w/ the abs system. any ideas would help, thanks.

Re: (HotRodDelSol)
does it sink when you press it or when you stopped then it sinks? If is sinks when you are pressing to stop, i am think air in system. if it sinks after stopping then it could be MC needs replacment.

You have a busted line or a lot of air in the system. Do you see any brake fluid spilling out when after it goes to the floor? Also what did you have done on your front brakes.

Re: (Solracer)
they did no replace the brake fluid so i dont think they bleeded the system. all i had changed was the pads. the pedal does not get firmer as i pump it.

Re: brake trouble (rw92civic)
my mechanic thought it was the proportioning valve which works together w/ the abs system because the front right and rear left have resistance but the others dont. the dealership said its the master cylinder. master cylinder usually gives signs its going out though. i dont know. i think i am going to take honda's word. what do you guys think.
