Default ect switch!!!!

okay i broke my oem coolant switch and bought a switch from autozone. now my car is going pass the middle line. and suggestion?

how do i do that? open the radiator and squeeze the hoses?

Check the coolant level in the radiator and reservoir. Top off if necessary. As mentioned, also bleed the cooling system. 5th generation Civics have a bleeder bolt, whereas 6th generation do not. In the latter case, loosen the radiator cap, turn the heater lever to MAX heat on the dash, and let the engine idle until the radiator fan turns ON twice. Top off again when done, and then tighten the radiator cap.
