Default Left hand die or thread chaser?

I need to get a thread chaser or die for a left handed thread.
I got a piece of equipment that has male threads on the end of a shaft. The threads are 10mm x 1.0 and they are kinda stripped. The nut that threads onto the shaft was stripped also, but I can replace that, but the threaded shaft is a few grand, I just don't got that kind of cash. Can anyone tell me where to order the die or chaser?

I remember seeing left handed taps/chasers in a tool truck catalog, but they were pricey. cant remember which one but they all carry the same stuff...

I don't remember them being any more than RH ones. But it wasn't my money I was spending

Try mcmaster.com or go to your local machine shop.

Depending on materiel of the shaft....just buy 2 new nuts.

On the inside of one of them, use a small file and in 4 places, file small grooves, like that of a thread chaser. Then just use it like a regular die.

I do this all the time and it works wonders.

MSC, but I doubt you will find a metric left hand thread die.
