ok.. here's deal with my brothers del sol

it wouldn't start day after last when we were at the firehouse getting ready to leave, so we towed it home.

i checked the fuel pump and fuel system for proper pressure and it passed
we replaced the plugs because they were roasted and the cap&rotor and used the wires of my crx and it still wont start im kinda lost and leaning towards a bad ignition coil but im not realy sure how to test it and i don't have any extra ones laying around to swap it out with just wondering if anyone had any ideas to help out a little

 

That happened to me about 6 months ago. Ended up being the coil. I'm not sure if you can check it with a test light or not, we took the stupid approach and used a pair of pliers on a screwdriver to check it. It didn't spark.
.......Replaced the coil and it fired right up.

also make sure your battery terminal connections are nice and tight

 

If by chance the coil turns out to be fine, then next check the igniter unit and the timing belt, which may have snapped.

alright so used my basic knoledge of hondas and prior experience with mine and tested the coil with my spark tester and it ended up being bad once we replaced it... it fired right up


kinda pointless for me to ask but i just wanted some other opinons on it before we went and replaced it
