one of my friends has a jdm b16 bottom block and i was thinking of getting it and putting ctr pistons in it and slapping a b16 head on it and do some mods to it like clutch and flywheel and ect.... would this be an alright build up or should i just save my money and get a gsr motor? i plan on doing a swap to my eg soon! thanks

Honestly most people would say do whatever you want its your car,but you should save money for a gsr and if you want to build it,it will make way more power. A stock b16 has lack of torque and to build a fast NA b16 will cost you a lot of money. So my answer is gsr. G/L

if you do go that route, DEF get the flywheel. might think about a CTR crank pulley as well. It will help you get through those gears a lil quicker.

also, if you already have the block open and installing new pistons, spend the $150 and bore it out .25mm to the oversize 81.25mm CTR pistons. Nice fresh cylinder walls? mmmmmm, makes my right foot tingle... good luck and keep us updated
