just a quick ? im about to buy a 92 hatch and its got a swap in it now i know a good bet about imports but not much about HP cause i just customize the car not build motors any way the car has a B18 swap with type r pistons and tuned ecu. Aem cold air intake, Dc header with apexi n1 style exaust,kyb 5 way adjustable struts with coil overs,B&M shorty shifter. i know how much a B18 ls pushes but not one with type R stuff in it anyways just a guess on the HP would be nice and what else do you think i should upgrade cause the car well be used as a every day car

 

anywhere from 120 to 150 at the wheels, depending on if its a vtec head or not. Also depending on the tune, ecu, and so on.

 

im sure its none vtec and im not sure on the ecu cause he never said much about it but if its vtec head wouldn't it be a gsr?

 

no it would be a Ls/vtec which would net you some more hp especially with type r pistons.

There's no way we're gonna know what some engine is gonna put out. Put it on a dyno.
