Icon6 Oil light.

I've got a b16a2 in my 95 integra ls. This morning when I turned on the car, the oil light came on, but this time it didint turn off. It stayed on, flickered a few times and then started blinking. The weather around here is below freezing in the mornings. I'm using 10w30 oil. What could my problem be?

did you check to see if your car had oil? did you park on a steep hill/driveway?

Thanks for the answers guys, my driveway is on a bit of a slant. But my oil is fine. I just drove it about a 1/2 hour ago and no problems. Only thing I notice is that the oil light comes on when I start it after its been sitting overnight or for a few hours.. when its cold.. The oil light comes on, and stays on for about 10 seconds. Then shuts off and comes back on for about a second and turns off completely. Is this normal. The motor has about 70k miles on it since the rebuild. Sombody told me it could be my oil pressure switch. How can I check whether this is true? Thanks, anything would help!

The oil light usually means that your pressure when it hits the sending unit is 5-10 psi which is LOW!!
One way of checking is to turn on the car and with the light on disconnect the cable that goes to the sending unit and if it is still on that means that the cable is grounded.
A quick way is to turn the car on an open the oil cap to see if oil is flowing around the head that would mean there is pressure.
