Default 5th Gen Rear Lower Ball Joint

I'm trying to find rear lower ball joints fro my 97' lude. So far all I have found is the whole knuckle from Honda. Is there any alternatives? There doesn't seem to be any aftermarket replacement.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this site doesnt list the ball joint separate from the knuckle. I am wondering if the ball joint from the older Preludes or another Honda will fit?

I believe the adjustable ball joints from SPC or Ingalls should work.

it would work in the upper control arm but not the lower...i have looked before from rear lowers and came up empty. Although i heard rumors that the legend front lowers would work. im not positive though

On a 5th gen lude to replace the rear lower ball joint (base and SH) you have to purchase an entire knuckle. This is the only way Honda sells it. For the front axle the SH has two lower ball joints that are replacable, but the base model requires the knuckle to get a new lower ball joint. You never mentioned if you had a Base or SH, but it looks like on the rear they are BOTH THE SAME PART#
I found a boneyard that has both rear knuckles for you
The knuckle/spindle are off of a '97 base model and the price is $75ea.
They probably will come with the hub/bearing and the brake dustshield still installed

I was hoping to find an alternative. I saw some people saying lower front ball joints from the Acura Legend fit but there isnt much info about it. I guess I'll have to purchase the whole knuckle. I also saw a post that front one from a 2004 Accord work. Can anyone confirm either of these.

I am Canada so ordering used parts from the States will probably not be worth it. Priced the knuckles at Honda. $300 a piece. I guess I will go with them. Thanks
