my car isles at like 2 grand when its cold until it warms up anyone know why. iv cleaned the iacv and just got a new dizzy coil. i dont have an o2 sensor tho. but i dont think that would cause it. anyways after it warms up it goes back to the normal idle? any help??
check for vacuum leaks.. very likely a line cracked. Make sure pcv and no other lines are clogged (like ones going to your intake).
Try resetting your battery.
As a last resort, adjust the idle adjustment screw

mine idles at 1500 during the summer and 2000 is about mine does when it sees the cold. Put AN 02 in that though, the computer problaly needs that for a reading.

funny stuff with the idle screw and all seein mine is to the point were my throttle body wants to stick.
Grab some STP throttle body and intake cleaner, and clean the hell out of it. You can take the TB off (preffered method), or do it with it on. Do this w/ the car off at first, and make sure to really scrub that cleaner in. There will be a lot of carbon/varnish. Then, turn the car on and go over the same steps again (obviously w/ the tb reattached). Take the hose off that goes from the valve cover to the inake, and spray the hell outta it.. could be clogged.

Mine was doing this too; the throttle valve seemed to stick to the actual throttle body.
