I have a jdm D15B but it has a PM3-10 head on it. Im not sure if it use to have
a carbed intake on it, or what. On the back side of the head, it has a hole
with 2 studs, instead of 3 like on a v-tec solenoid. Also there's no place for
a MAP sensor on the t/b. The motor came from a 94 civic if that helps any.
I just need to know how to identify 'WHICH' D15B i have, & what motor the
HEAD came from. Ive searched everything i can think of, & still nothing,
so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

 

The map sensor for that motor would be on the firewall for that motor, just get any map and hook a vac line up to it. As for the circled thing, thats kind of got me. Thermostat housing maybe?

Thermostat housing and that little brass colored line coming out of the throttle body is where the firewall mounted MAP sensor plugs into.

 

You'll need to fab up a block off plate if you plan to use that head. That is the spot for the mechanical fuel pump from a carb'ed D15.

 

thank you guys. when i got the motor it had a fabed up block off plate there, but i removed it to take the picture. i got a good deal on it, but really dont plan on using it. Do you think i sould sell it as is or try parting it out?
