Default Obd-0 To Obd-1, Is it worth the $$$$?

I have a 1990 integra with a b16 swap with some mods. Its still running on odb0 stuff and i was gonna get a chipped obd1 ecu from Phearable and change it over to obd1, I know ill need the jumper harness and dizzy also but is it worth doing that? like will i get hp from swapping to obd1 and getting a chipped ecu? Has n e one gotten a Chipped ecu from Phearable? Any info on this subject would help me alot. Thanks guys

im going pretty much the same route you are as far as with phearable..you wont gain hp by switching over to obd1, I dont think the obd0 ecu is chipable (i could be wrong) which is why people switch to obd1 because its chipable and alot of programs can be run on it..
If your plannin on boosting your car down the road i would deff switch to obd1, but if your just stickin to the b16 youll probably be fine.

My buddy bought an ecu from them and was very satisfied on just the basemap they sent him alone. i have heard only good things abotu them so you have nothing to worry about as far as service.
If anything is wrong correct or add too this is just my take

You can chip an obd0 ecu. But you can't run programs like crome, ectune, uberdata, neptune, etc. Thats why people do the conversion.

well im not going turbo i pretty much have a N/A built b16 and i dont have the hp that i should. i have alot of performance part and with running the stock obd0 ecu the ecu has no clue that i have stuff done and stil running on stock setting so with the upgrade i hope to get a little more of what i should get.

Do it, it's the best thing to do, plus later on, it's easier to get obd1 parts (distributor, ecu's etc...)

its a odb1 ecu. does it matter what the harness is? as long as i wire the o2 and vtec it should work right?

OBD1 is worth the money its easier for you to get it tune and if you want to bar the motor to make it legal.

i did this conversion on my 89 hatch w/turbo b16. before was running obd-0 with turbo. had check valves, engine light on, and ran like **** just crusin. changed to obd-1,bought an ecu from phearable. told them what i had for upgrades. it was day & night diference in driveability. im very happy with just the basemap they put in. in other words, it well worth the $$$$.
