Spring release fork
Regarding transmission problem, My car just didn't go in gear at a red light so I towed it home. Remove the cable transmission and found out the spring that held the throwout bearing, one of the clip broke off.. so only one clip was still on the throwout bearing. I'm referring to part #5, would that cause the transmission to not go in gear?

Opinions welcome. BTW it's a 91 Integra

It couldn't go into any gears, I would shift into all gears without pressing the shift clutch pedal while the engine is still on.
I will be replacing that spring today and also the pilot bearing, and throwout bearing. The clutch & pressure plate looks good still.

Same thing happened to my DA, it doesn't want to go into any gears. First I thought that it might have been my clutch cable because one of my buddies told me that sometimes the clutch cable become loose. So he told me to tighten it which worked for a couple of days, but the problem came back. I really haven't had the time to take the transmission apart; therefore, I haven't really identified the problem, but maybe this can be it.
