im searching for possible options for a d16y8 engine. i was reading and some say keep the head to the coresponding computer u have other say the block

What exactly are you looking to do and for what purpose? IE: Better daily driver, a under-dog car to punk people at the drag strip with, or a fun car to road race with?

You have to understand, that based upon what intent your car was built for by the factory, it limits how much you can remodify your car to do everything. Most people build entirely for drag racing, will add suspension components to their car to help them keep the power up front, in turn making the car terrible for handling corners. It's a give and take...

im thinking i would like to go for a turbo set up but i cant at the moment, $$$. so im think maybe a mild/build that ups my 125hp, but when i go turbo it wont hurt the engine much. swap??? yea sound really nice but once again $$$ so D is wut i have and D is wut ima work with

you wont be able to boost that much on a stock sohc
