DC2 ITR brakes on ED/EF
Hi everybody!
I took my brakes apart the other evening and was quite shocked to find out how bad they where. First I thought that IŽd just change the discs and pads and put new O-rings and stuff in the calipers.
But then I found a set of 96-99 ITR brakes complete with knuckles and control arms whatsoever for quite a reasonable price and started doing research on if those would fit my car.

IŽve been getting some pretty good info from here, and it has couraged me to think that it shoudŽnt actually even be such a hard swap:

I thought IŽd ask if someone in here has done it and can give me a heads up on some problems I might come across or other parts that I need to change that donŽt come with the kit IŽm looking at (Master cylinder?).
Any info is greatly apreciated!

the rears will pop right on, trailing arm and all. the bolt pattern is different though ,4x114. 3 or whatever on the 4 lug integra Rs. keep that in mind for the wheel choice.
the front knuckles will bolt up, but running those knuckles on an EF causes a lot of weirdness. i did it once, just to see what the difference actually was, and i got a lot of positive camber, along with extra height. its not a wonderful setup.
you can use the brakes on EF knuckles, but it takes some machine work . you have to machine the hub to fit.
there are ways to mount the calipers on EF kuckles, and you can run a different rotor.

DX Knuckles + 17CL15VN (ITR, NSX, etc.) Calipers + Civic EX Rotors

All it takes is a little machining of the caliper bracket to fit.

About the front knuckles, would I be better off with some knuckles & brakes from a EG VTi or do they create the same weirdness in the suspension geometry as the ITR knuckles..? I know that I canŽt use the EG nor DC UCA since itŽs different.. If itŽs only about the height and camber that are changing couldnŽt that be cured by installing UCA.s with camber adjustments..? I already have a adjustable coil-over suspension so I should be able to trim the height to correct if it doesŽnt lift the car too much.
I could also buy a full brake kit from a EG VTi (the version with factory installed B16A2) and then I could keep the rims I have right now since the bolt pattern wonŽt change..
Oh, and thanks on the info so far!

EG will not work. Check out the FAQ then go to the brakes section and look at the first 4-5 links. It will answer all your questions. The only front knuckles you want to use is 88-91 Civic/CRX or 90-93 Integra. And it will be simple compared to the link above.
