Default Real or fake? Desmond EVO 17x9

Hi,

please help: are they true Desmond Regamasters?

Look:

They are fully forged. Produced in Russia. Size 17x9, PCD:5x114,3

I found them on www.agforged.eu for 1600 EUR.

What do You think?

Thanks

Bodek

AGForged is not Desmond. So to answer your question directly, they're not Desmond Regamasters. I don't see how you can misconstrue those to be Desmonds. They don't even list the term "Regamaster" on their main site.

PS. They're made in Poland, not Russia.

Ok, but what do You think about that:

Desmonds was produced in Russia in BKMPO factory. AG Forged EU is part of AG Forged RU company. I think this is unworkable to produce wheel like this without special tools.

I think only 3 producers in he world can produce wheels like that: Russia, JP and US.

What do U think?

Whoa that is very light for a 17x9. If that weight is accurate and the price is right I would definitely pick them up for track use.

Those are too wide for most Honda/Acura cars.

Before buying them, FIRST decide what make/model and size tires you're going to use, and THEN find out what wheel widths the tires can be mounted on.

Then they may work for the rear, maybe not for the front. What size tires do you plan to use with them?

I never said that they weren't good quality wheels, only that they're not Desmonds. I would buy them, if they made a size for my car, but they don't.

Germany (BBS, Schmidt, etc...) and Spain (Braid) both offer great forged wheels as well by the way; it's not just Russia, Japan, and USA.

yea 17x9's will work in the rear of an S2000.

My buddy used to run 18x9 in the rear of his S with I think either 245/35 or 255/35-18 tires.

I have asked seller for more offers. He said, that all wheels are made for special order. It is possibility to order wheel with ET from 25 to 50 in every model.

This is 18x8 ET50:

Weight 7,5kg looks good for me. Maybe this is better choice?
