go y8, i had a skunk2 and honestly felt improvement (at least bottom end -mid) switching back to the z6. Skunk2's are more for a built motor, like turbo. They have long runners and can hit the firewall when the motor rocks naturally

It's not really worth replacing if it's not broken. I just threw a skunk2 pro series on my Y8 Im building for boost. i got it at a price i couldn't pass up so im selling my stock one.

but if you're looking to buy a Y8 intake manifold, I have one. $50

PM me.

Yeah if you're going to boost then the skunk2 is the one you want, although not completely necessary, a real nice addition to your motor. im swapping a fresh Y8 in less than 2 weeks and it's ready to boost, but my funds ran out temporarily. but if you change your mind about my Y8 I/M f/s feel free to hit me up.

Then you need new motor mounts. The I/M hitting the firewall is in no way "natural"

Well to each their own opinion. I think if it happens, thats its natural and wouldnt be too worried, and i know i dont need new mounts because i do all my work myself and know the condition of everything on it. If you relocate the iacv then i dont think itll hit. In my current car it hit the firewall, but we pried it back and fixed it, then when we switched it over to my old turbo hatch, again it hit the firewall. Im getting ready to put my h2b to in, and bought a s2 pro mani off another h22 eg guy and his has the lines to relocate the iacv. Im guessing because it hit as well. Anyways, there was a huge difference when we put it on my old turbo hatch. I couldnt tell you the numbers but it but it was good enough to make it break traction now. Those mani's are just overkill on a stock motor.
