i have a 96 integra gsr
i was installing my reinforcement bar and everything was going smooth until i went to bolt back up my lower control arms.
the bolt that came with the ASR bar meant for that location only goes in 6/8 of the way and wont go any further, any help on how to bolt this back up? its holding the lower control arms up right now but they arent tight and im gonna have to walk to school tomorrow, fast input would help alot
thanks!

both sides, its not that theyre too short, they just wont get in lol
the bolts go through the asr bar, the stock hole, the lower control arm, and some where after that it would go
i still have about a half an inch in bolt left on the asr side
you think the stock bolt would work better? or should i just hammer the hell out of it?

Fisrt take the bolt out and look through the hole and make sure that ur controle arm is lining up with the front and back hole id imagine that is getting hung up on the back hole cause its not lined up all the way. If its almost prefectly lined up try giving it a few tap with a hammer to get it into the hole but dont smash the **** out of it cause you could end up doing some damage. I dont think that the stock bolts are long enough

so today i went back at it n still had no luck
i unbolted the end links to the sway bar to free up the LCA a little more and still couldnt get the LCA to fit straight
when i looked into the hole to bolt it up you could see that the opposite side of the LCA was high
the ASR side was lined up but the other side wasnt
i tried lowering the car so that the wheels were firmly on the ground, still on the jack tho, and tried bolting it up that way too but no luck
any other suggestions?
thanks

I had similar trouble with one side on my car. I had to take my large 12" Crescent Wrench and twist the LCA while tapping the bolt. The shock for some reason is twisting the LCA.

Take some pics. Try removing the wheels. Maybe the bolt is the wrong thread pitch? I did mine with little effort, there has to be some reason its not lining up.

ill try taking off the wheel tomorrow, if no luck still ill take some pictures
without the LCA in place, everything lines up and the bolt goes in easily

try putting the bolt through the lower controle arm and see if it slides though that freely if it does then something isnt lining up rite. taking the wheel off is gunna help you alot make thing easier to manipulate
Sorry to hear that twisting thd LCA it didn't work. Does some thing with a smaller size like a screw drive make it all the way through? Something just doesn't seem right. Please get some pictures.
Short-cut to my ASR project. Take a look at the pictures. Does everything look the same?
