preserving adjustable shock life (illumina, agx, yellows)
which setting would help preserve shock life on a higher spring rate? i've heard both sides: riding on a soft setting, and riding on a stiffer setting. can anybody confirm which setting it is? basically i have some 3.25" springs from sprint and i've yet to install my illuminas, so i want to take some precautions. i've had a neuspeed race 2.5" on agx in the past and i kept it at the lowest setting, and it has yet to fail.
well i have sunk2 springs on agx's i just did my research on them i have them 3 up front and 8 in the rear they ride pretty good but i was told that as long as they have some shock travel then they will be fine seeing how they are designed for cars with stiffer and lowered cars also avoid potholes its just bad for the suspension in general i have had that setup from may 08 and its held up

I've had my Koni Sports since February 2002 - 7 years this month, with over 170K miles on them, and they're still working great. I think it's really just personal preference where you adjust them.
