Default help - 96 obd2 gsr motor into 93 civic dx - help

motor: 96 obd2 b18c1
vehicle: 93 civic dx

im helping a friend with his swap. i got the motor in fine. at first he kept the obd2 harness on the motor. it plugged right back into the car. i figured to go ahead and change out the harness for his obd1 stock harness. being an obd2 motor the distributor, altenator and injector plugs were different. i rewired the obd2 plugs onto the obd1 harness. now im still missing an o2 sensor because the dx harness has a 1 wire o2 and the b18c1 needs a 4 wire o2 sensor. can anyone give me a pinout on the o2 wires. 2 are grounds im guessing. also can anyone give me directions on the correct way to rewire the plugs off the obd2 harness to the ob1 harness. right now the car starts and it runs for 5 seconds and shuts back off. its not throwing any codes though.

ive done this swap before in my own car but it was easier since i had the obd1 altenator, distributor and injectors off my b16. the o2 wires were already on the harness also.

any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

you should have just used the obd2 harness. it would have worked perfectly fine.

just use everything that came with the obd2 motor and use an obd1 gsr ecu. all should plug in. just add knock sensors, and vtec wires if needed. You might have to run a new wire for tachometer to work to driver side shock tower
