OBD2 ENGINE HARNESS in an OBD1 CHASIS...
GOT a EG CX for 300, clean as all hell, has a motor swap and everything in it only thing it's missing is an engine harness. I start a job next week I need this thing running, NOT money to get an OBD-1 Harness so I'm IN IT to win it..
WHAT would be the process, IF THERE IS ONE, to get this thing running on the wired up tip??? All I have is an OBD-2 Civic Harness, is it possible to make it work and run the car???

It won't directly wire up. The injectors have different ends, the alternator is different, distributor is different, the CKY and CKP sensors are by the crank not in the alternator. IAT sensor is probably in a different spot. The plugs for connecting to the chassis are different.
If you changed and rewired those plugs, and cut and spliced other ends onto the chassis side of the harness, I guess maybe. Also I'm not sure if the OBD2 harness connects on just the passenger side or the driver's side also like a OBD1 harness does.

What swap does it have? Just go to the junkyard and pull one off a civic 92-95 any model Civic or Integra(I would tend to stay away from the VX model if you can).

an obd2 civic harness will NOT work. the EK harnesses were the oddball harness of the group, they only work in EKs as they wont plug into the EG shock towers. not only would you need to do some of your own splicing for the alt/distrib/injectors, but the harness itself wont plug into the ecu without a jumper harness.
obd2 integra harnesses, however, WILL work if you can find one. i would reccommend you just try and trade your obd2 civic harness for an obd1 civic harness and use that, because it will also work.
