Hit a manhole with my apexi n1 about 2 weeks ago and order exhaust last week once i got the call saying that the city wasnt going to pay for anything...Well a couple days ago it finally all started to drag...

Ive now parked it until the exhaust comes in and from the header back is off and im wondering i if should do anything to the cat or resenator while its off the car?

if it wasnt damaged with the hit like the muffler i wouldnt worry about it... im assuming you like the sounds and dont wanna gut it or anything.

 

well it completly trashed the muffler and piping is needed to be replaced from the resenator back bc the bends were stretched to back pinching it in the bends almost close in 2 spots.

Was debating on going straight to 3in bc of my mani will be done in 6 weeks but im not riding around terrible loud so im just stayin 2.25 for now

 

is your car boosted? i would just keep the 2.25 also unless its boosted.. anything larger is a waste and just too loud IMO

 

not boosted yet but i didnt really want to buy 2 exhausts....but its already bought at 2.25
