slave cylinder hose leaks when slave is compressed
i just bought a new slave cylinder for my 4th gen lude
h22a motor and trans
everytime i hit the clutch fluid leaks out of the bolt that holds on the hose
i tried to tighten it more but it doesnt seem to go
i can still see threading also
anyone got any ideas?

there's 2 washers, one on each side of the thing i think you're talking about IIRC. and yeah if you still see threads but its tight.. cross-threaded aka you're F'd in the A.
oh boy....ummm...ok....There are 2 ways to put a bolt and nut together. The right way and the wrong way. The right way is when the the threads of the bolt meet up perfectly with the grooves inside the nut. The wrong way is when the threads do not meet up perfectly with the grooves but you keep turning it anyway. This causes the threads to spin outside of the grooves, which results in cross-threading. The threads cross the grooves instead of being in sync with them. Imagine a sliding door that is off the track. It doesn't move too well. And if you try to force it, you can fúck things up.
Well with bolts, screws, nuts, and other fasteners that use this method, once you've cross-threaded it, both pieces are ruined.

Unscrew it. If it requires an abnormal amount of torque or the threads come out mashed, then it was cross-threaded. Replace both pieces and try again, making sure to not make the same mistake twice.
when you tightened it on did you force it most of the way or did it go screw in nicely and just tighten up towards the end ?
FAILURE IMMINENT.
I mean... :p you'll probably need a new bolt because I remember the slave being pretty heavy-duty. If not, you'll need a slave too

i have permanent nerve damage so im not as strong as most so i dont know
well it should start very easy, with ease once you line it up correctly.
Also you should be using a flare nut wrench to tighten these.
