I just traded for a 93 Del Sol Si and I kept my radio and anytime I turn off the car, the radio resets and won't save my stations.

I ran the yellow(Memory) from the radio to the white/blue wire in the dash(Constant). And the red(12v Ignition) from radio to the yellow/red wire in the dash and nothing happed. BUT if you wire all four together, it works.

I assume that memory wire in the dash is coming from the clock b/c it resets too. But I ran a wire from the yellow on the radio with the white/blue wire to the radio fuse under the dash and it kept the clock memory and stereo memory. This is when the yellow/red wire was connected to the red wire on the radio.

But now it just randomly stopped keeping the memory. Can anyone tell me how to wire this right? B/c I did red to yellow/red, and yellow to white/blue and nothing happens. Thanks for any help.

 

Did you buy the car new? Maybe it's a faulty ground.

 

No and the radio did work, just stopped keeping memory all of a suddon. I'm lost.
