Icon3 Still no spark!

Car: 93 civic Ej1
Motor: 93 H22A

Ok so about a month and some weeks ago my tranny blew. I replaced the tranny some what weeks later so the car was sitting for awhile. But by just simply replacing the tranny, the car stopped getting spark. I didnt touch anything else besides what I needed to. So then i replaced the ignition coil and nothing. So a few weeks later i got a new dizzy (yesterday) but i noticed inside the old dizzy had two wires that came out of the module that looked like they grounded to the igntition coil. And the new dizzy has those same two wires but they dont come out, they just go with the other wires of the dizzy. So with out a clue i put the old ignition coil in (even though nothing was connected/grounded to it) and still nothing. . . . sooo im just wondering what else could be the reason why im still not getting spark, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. . . . thanks

Does the distributor have 12V at the connector when the key is turned to ON(II)?

Check whether you forgot to reconnect any ground wires, such as on the tranny, thermostat housing, valve cover, etc.

how could i check if it has 12v? and my fans turn on when i turn the key but i noticed that sometimes the fans dont turn on and the car doesnt crank but when i turn the key and the fans do turn on, the car cranks, so basiclly it cranks when it wants to

The Blk/Yel wire in the distributor should read 12V. With the ignition key turned to ON(II), touch the red (+) probe of the voltmeter to the Blk/Yel wire and the black (-) probe to the thermostat housing.

Regarding intermittent cranking problems, clean and tighten the battery terminals and ground wire and also check the ignition switch.

Does it matter what size the wire is for the tranny ground?

the ground wire to the tranny should be any smaller than a 10guage wire, 8 or 6 gauge would be a better size to go with though

15A fuse 31 protects the main relay circuit. Disconnect the fuel pump connector to see whether this prevents the fuse from blowing. If so, you have a short at the fuel pump.
