this has never happened to me before,as i driving home my clutch kept going down deeper to the floor to the point where i had to pull over....after doing so i noticed that my clutch fluid was too full so i took some out and it drove fine but it happened to me once again before i got home but what could this problem be??? after it happened one more time it drive fine for the rest of the ride home...

is this a serious problem ?
can i still drive the car safey?
what is causing this?

No it will be a $60 fix at most if you do it yourself

No it needs to be addressed immediately

You either have a bad clutch master cylinder AND/OR slave cylinder. Check to see which one it is leaking from and replace appropriately then bleed the system...

 

Word. Master or slave.

 

sounds like the master... look for leaks in the engine bay by the master.

then look for leaks by the clutch pedal.
